Guest
Very very nice work. I love the Miami Vice windscreen. I bet its dry, quick and damn comfortable in that cockpit.
Tim C 23
The view out of the back of the hulls. It is rare these hatches get completely closed, usually they are on vent, even though they are only about 500mm off the waterline. Experience has shown pillows get wet when surfing in to Tauranga Harbour in a big Easterly at the end of a race a few years ago, but that was extreme. Very nice waking up with the ocean just there... ScarecrowR31 8
Boat looked good out by challenger on Saturday. Have you modified the head of the main?
Tim C 23
Yes I had a little tweak if the main. Needs another take up though, and won't happen before Coastal. The new bows feel great. Nicely cutting through the water. I had a nice sail around Kawau. On Saturday the long range forecast for the Race was on the wind, so that's what I practised. Now looks like a light SW... Were you doing that fishing thing? I don't suppose you had a camera?
ScarecrowR31 8
Sorry no camera. On mates fizz boat with a quick fish after a scallop dive. Forecast for CC getting better with SW until late. Could be a "fast" boat benefit race.
