Hempel antifouling

The owner of the Auckland company is a friend of mine and he actually lives down here. He has it on his Fizznasty for five years with no problems and has just recoated. It gets a little slimey when sitting for sometime and as soon as he starts moving, the slime falls off, which is mostly how this stuff works. I am going to be putting it on my hull soon. Lots of commercial guys use it and all the Talley's ships use it.

When I get to Auckland, I have been considering being a bit of a go between with the company and the yachties as they are geared mostly for Commercial. They do have a rep, but he doesn't work with anything none commercial and the wharehouse does not have a "shop" as such. Although you can walk in a buy it. So I said to the guy I would be more than happy to help the yachties out with the stuff. I have used several other products of theirs and they are really good coatings. Although they specialise in marine coatings for commercial use, they do also have a yacht range of paints etc.

They also have antifouls that last even longer than that, but it is mega expensive and you can not buy in small amounts.
