Guest
Another windy rainy race. Well done to the Squadron who sent us around the easier way. Far nicer going to windward in the flatter water. We even had to change up a headsail size. The run home from Rakino was very pleasant for us. It looked like a great ride for the spin boats. A bit of carnage to finish the season. I heard of: Deeds Flipped - broken mast? Outrageous Fortune 1 spin and 1 kite pole Elysium 1 spin Bealey Hare 1 primary On a more serious note I am aware of a couple of injuries in the race too. I hope JK and the person on the Scow are both ok.
Guest
Definately a fun race Jono. There were a few optimistic crews trying to hold kites all the way down the Westhaven wall to finish. The carnage was quite entertaining to watch. Well done to Surething for managing to hold an extra to the finish. Aside from getting a tree stuck on our keel and breaking a bowman it was a quite a sedate race for us. Great slide down the back of Rangi though.
markm 30
Was down the odd key crew member so was taking it pretty conservative but yes, it was an enjoyable downwind slide.
