rigger 47
North of Fergusson wharf is a Jackup barge and a buoy to the east of it - the buoy is unlit and very hard to pick out at night,
Guest
Is that the one that will be there for a while that was mentioned in NToM? Unlit, you're kidding surely.
rigger 47
Yeap in the NtM The barge is well lit but unfortunatley that can make the yellow buoy hard to see - have been told that it will have a light on it but last night it did not have a light - just though it worth mentioning - would hate to hear of anyone running into the buoy - though if they did they would be inside the exclusion zone that everyone knows about....... That will be on those easy to read signs on the sides of the barge no doubt. HM's NtM did KNOT mention a buoy that looks exactly like a new racing mark, like all the other unnamed racing marks, that yachts are uncontrollably attracted to, bees to honey, moths to flames etc. Just missed that buoy twice now.
