Clipper 343
Doing a little research for work (true story). How many Trailer yachts have a rig that would be higher than 11m above the water? Does anyone know how tall some typical examples of larger TS are? Ross 780? Noelex 25? Tracker? etc. etc. And any larger one off type boats like supergroove, although I think she has gone overseas? What about some of the larger sports boats? T780 Or even the F25 tri.
Marshy 30
11 Metres above water or 11 Metres above the road when on a Trailer? Big difference there Same with above deck or above water. The below measurements are above deck. Noelex 30 Mast has a P measurement of 10.42 metres. So the mast is probably smack on 11 metres. Ross 780 Approx 10 Metres (9.44 Luff) Farrier 27 has a Mainsail Luff of 10.14 Metres. At the sport boat end... Thompson 750 Mast Height - 14.5 Metres Magic 25 has a luff length of the main of 9.40 metres so mast is probably 10 metres. Here is a pretty helpful link to find rough measurements. http://www.mauriprosailing.com/techinfo ... tspecs.htm
Clipper 343
11m above water is what I was after. Thanks for the link, I'll have a trawl.
Guest
Springloaded is the sistership to Supergroove and in Lyttleton. From memory it would be around 13m above water. The Itchy Feet Elliot 780 would be about 12m and the Erazor / std Elliot 780 would be about 11m above water. The Farrier tris would be the other boats to check.
