Sheet leads on these old girls are permanent through bolts in the deck so part of it was rigging up a barber hauler sort of thing to get an idea where they will land before Peter Brookes takes a 14 mm bit to the teak. They may have been slower than todays boat but they sure look a lot better. Now I wonder if Will is up for explain what he was doing with a large inflatable Turtle on his boat while following some weirdo paddling out into a rather unpleasant Rangi Channel on a bloody lilo last Friday.
