NZMackem 0
Hi - I have had a boat builder working on the keel on my boat. The front keel bolt went through an area, on the front of the keel, that was then filled with builders bog. I have worked with builder's bog around the house and I've found that it tends to crack - Question: Is it normal to fill spaces with commercial builders bog. BTW - we are talking $16 per tin at bunnings builders bog.
ex TL systems 63
no i wouldn,t think it would be recommended on a boat and particularly not in under water areas, but it may not matter if it is simply filling a void ,still epoxy filler or foam would be a better choice i would think.
