If any of ya "Crew.org"s happen to be in the U.S. in 2012, you are invited to drop by the Sandusky Sailing Club (Western Lake Erie) and we will get you on a boat. Our season runs from, roughly, May through October.

This offer includes your family, friends and kids on OE. It's the least I can do in return for all the kiwis who so graciously let this old boat slut sail with them - especially the sailors of Tauranga, Ponsonby, and sunny, sunny Nelson.

Merry Christmas to all - Canterbury especially. If I close my eyes just right, I can still see the stunning Christchurch Botanic Gardens.

Here's a card for ya - it's the historic Marblehead lighthouse (cifca 1820) at the mouth of Sandusky Bay . .
