morspeed 1
I have been asked to deliver a 60ft multi offshore which i guesstimate will involve minimum 7 weeks passage ( well over 7000nm) plus approx 7 weeks of stopovers, Panama transits etc... Its been a couple of years since i undertook an offshore delivery so am unsure what current rates are at..its been suggested $300 a day is around average.Fixed delivery fee is really unworkable in this case for a variety of reasons which i will get to later should the plan go ahead. Anyone out there offer any accurate advice on current market rates for skipper fees based on NM or day rate?. ( excluding of course the usual expences). Cheers..
Guest
That is quoted by many, but there are lots of unemployed delivery skippers around these days.Plus on a long trip loike that i would normally give a bit of a discount. Also clarify whether that is still paid on days you are not travelling.
