Guest
From my inbox, can anyone help? David, Following our phone call today, I race a Ross 830 in Sydney and am exploring the possibility of storing the boat out of the water on a chain hoist at a local marina, similar to other boats currently on the hoist (Etchells, J24's etc). To do this a connect point inside the boat needs to be attached to the keel bolts. The big question is selecting "which" keel bolts so that the boat lifts evenly out of the water. If you can find out who may have such info or if a piece of the 830 plan can be sent to me with the relevant info I would be most appreciative.
Guest
David, Further to yesterday's email - I believe Bruce Hopwood Yachts, which ceased business in the late 80's built the Ross 830's. If Bruce Hopwood was still around he may be able to assist with the info or the plans
