LaurieJ 0
Proven desgin, professionally maintained. Racer/Cruiser. Very good class racing out of westhaven. Part of MRX Yachting Syndicate which means all costs (Marina, Insurance, Sails, Maintenance) are included in a reduced yearly fee. This is offset with the boat being used occassionally for corporate sailing during the week. Perfect boat for social sailing, very easy to sail, easy cruising boat to Great Barrier and Waiheke. Perfect boat for first time owner. Full or half share avaible Price for half share 30,000 ono www.mrxyachting.co.nz
khayyam 71
what's the yearly fee?
Guest
what's the yearly fee? I think what Laurie means is the yearly fee is offset by a fee paid When the boat is loaned to the corporates to race occasionally. The question is how occasionally?

I think what Laurie means is the yearly fee is offset by a fee paid When the boat is loaned to the corporates to race occasionally. The question is how occasionally? There is still a yearly fee but it is next to nothing compared to paying for a mooring it at westhaven, buying new sails and having insurance.
LaurieJ 0
Maintance fee is 6,000 per year per boat. So 3k for half share. This includes marina berth outside the squadron, insurance, maintance and new sails. Very cheap and easy way to own a boat. The corparte days are mostly during the week, there are not very many that use all 11 boats, so if you want to use the boat just tell MRX yachting and they will take a different boat. johnMi 2
that's a good deal for a great boat. I had a 1020 which had the same hull, and that was a joy to sail!
Guest
So what's the deal? You pay 3k per year including marina etc... And you get to use it whenever you want for whatever you want unless loaned out (witch you get paid for)??? Sounds like a really good deal for a 100k boat
LaurieJ 0
The deal is you pay 3k a year maintance cost, this covers everything marina, insurance, sails, deck gear, motor, saftey gear, life jackets, everything. The boat is used for charters sometimes during the week if you are not using it.
