chic014 0
We use Airtech Wrightlon 7400 from SP High Mod. Green tinged vacuum bag. Has quite a bit of stretch which is good. Some of the lower grade ones are not as ductile.
Kiteroa 8
If you're curing conventional West system type resin at room temperature, use anything airtight. Such as cheap tubular plastic from the garden centre. That will be fine up to about 45-50 degrees. Above that you want to look at the more specialised heat resistant film plastics from SP-HM etc. But for low temp applications anything will do. I sometimes use cheap black plastic rubbish bags for small jobs. They're already sealed on 3 edges which saves time and cost. If you are going above 50 degrees, give SP High Modulus a call. Think their number is 09 415 6262 from memory.
Guest
Good question AFU, I was thinking exactly the same thing last evening. I was playing with my new sucker over the weekend and suspected the plastic from M10 was a tad porous. Worked OK but I think I could use better.
