The title says it all.

 

We're holding a small, low-key regatta for dinghies and small trailer yachts over the weekend of 15 & 16 December.

 

Each day is stand-alone, our main focus is Saturday, as that is when most of our visitors will be attending.

 

Four scratch races to establish a handicap, followed by a mark-foy final to determine the winner.

 

The trick being that if you don't finish well up in the heats, you may not make the final, so sandbagging to get an easy handicap may not be such a good idea! That said, the top boat of each class automatically qualifies.

 

Sunday will be a bit more normal, either two or three normal races, possibly in divisions, using the appropriately named Weymouth Handicaps.

 

So if you fancy a challenge, come to Weymouth in a fortnight (preferably Saturday 15th), and check out what the council just gave us! Oh, and don't forget your boat!
