lotus92owner 0
we are repowering a lotus 9.2 and considering the gearbox ratio - 2:1 or 2.6:1. Does anyone know if a shaft drive on a lotus 9.2 can take a 16" dia prop with enough clearance between blade tip and hull? If not may need to take a dip with tape measure as she is in the water. Guest
I had a 16 inch prop on the marauder for a bit. Fit fine on the shaft but depends on your strut. Should be fine though

wheels 543
You will have to check it with the tape mate. Unless you can find one up on the hard around the yards. Just because a 16 might fit on a Marauder is no sure answer for a 9.
alibaba 79
t the answer to your question is yes. I have a Lotus 9.2, Yanmar 2GM 20F, running a 16x9 prop. 5 and a half knots at 2000 revs. seems fine to me.
