banaari 27
Am in the process of sorting out a new battery tray. Need to find a product which I can use to fill the gap between the floor of the tray and the curved hull. Volume to be filled is about 1.5 litres. Is there something out there, along the lines of an expanding foam? (ps. Yes the thing will also be well and truly bolted in, I just want to distribute the weight over as much area as possible). Guest
Use the 2 pot expanding but make sure you find a closed cell version, of which most are knot. If it's knot closed cell it can suck up lots of water given the chance. Or you could, assuming it'll stay dry or be seal in there, use one of those cans of it from the hardware shop. They are open cell as far as I know hence the can you seal it comment.
banaari 27
The 2-pot expanding sounds like the job, but what's the stuff called and where do I get it?
S+S24 0
Norski Pour-In-Foam, more than likely Cater Marine Opua, can come in a 500gram kit.
