If you take the lot, a bottle of rum to Matt would be a decent thing to do

Anyone want these for free? All were working fine when I upgraded my system over the last couple of years:
Course Computer Type 300 - missing the cover but it’d never had one in the 10 years I’ve had it and it has never missed a beat.
Flux gate compass that links to the course computer
Autohelm tridata - working well as far as I remember.

Harder than some writers think. Im trying to ranp up the deliveries and have been wondering about proofreading.
Two errors in the second sentence and you're thinking about proof reading? Maybe stick to the deliveries!!

The POAL carpark is three stories high already. They really have managed to keep it on the quiet while pushing ahead at full steam.

Nice - that's not Demonstrator is it?

Any other suggestions of places between here and north Cape where you walk to a grocery store or supermarket?
Opua and Mangonui

Another vote for Barry Cawson at Geltec. He did a full bottom job on my boat a couple of years ago and was a pleasure to deal with and a reasonable price.

Thanks - while I’ve read a lot about that race, this doco added another dimension.

That is very cheap for what is a great design - although they did leave out the fact that the 2010 refit was due to an unfortunate incident at The Brothers at the entrance to Te Puna inlet.....

Cavallis and Whangaroa for me.

Might see you up there - Papa Romeo Hotel

Try Barry Cawson,

Did a fantastic job for me at Opua a couple of years ago at a very reasonable cost - I’d highly recommend him.

Hi Nagy - I’ve got one if you want it. Send me a PM

They missed the Whangaroa entrance by some distance - the tragedy happened North of Taupo Bay from memory. They were trying to get into Whangaroa but got disoriented in the storm.

Did anyone else notice that the Beneteau had a MSA number on the stern? It made me wonder if they had chartered the boat, and perhaps had some time pressures to return it to Auckland?

I filled in the form supporting it. Personally I think it is the better choice. The tank farm will be remediated at some stage soon, but before long it will be simply covered in more apartments and low rise office blocks of middling quality like the rest of Wynyard. The wharf extensions will in time provide more public open space and the ability to hold regattas (or other international events) of the size of the AC on a temporary basis. The VHH guys didn’t care about views of the harbour when they put the very privatised apartment blocks up.....

No cost - it's not of any use to me now so it may as well go to someone who can use it.

Pretty sure I have one you can have. Let me check in the morning

Of interest, at the last local body election, the sitting Mayor of the FNDC got 17% of the vote. i.e .clearly and roundly slammed by the people of Northland...

Ahhhh - no, he got re-elected actually.........

I've just been through a similar scenario, although I was swapping out old Raymarine gear for the new generation. As IT says, the transducers are all Airmar and the both new ones I purchased (Speed and depth/temp) slotted straight into the 20 year old through hulls. You will need the ITC-5 converter that KM mentions to convert the signal to Seatalk Ng to speak to the i70.
I'm pretty sure I have the through hull that came with the 'ducers spare if you want them for free, but I doubt you'll need them. I think I kept the old transducers somewhere you can dummy fit - it they go in your existing through hulls then the new Airmar ones will fit as well.

I had the bottom of my 40 footer done a couple of years ago by Barry Cawson. Highly recommended and much cheaper than Brin Wilson.
