Plus the post requesting a crew member for a 15 day cruise Auckland to North Cape (and BoI) return. Either would start towards end of November and finish early December. Shezakeepa has the forrard berth available, so a couple would fit. I don't know if your friend is that friendly. You appear to have adequate experience as a yachtsman. Thanks, Gappy. I'm aware that the Parengarenga crossing is very dependent on sea conditions, with shallow shifting sand bars for a great distance from shore. Somewhat similar to the Bowentown bar crossing down this way. Contingency is to continue on to Houhora, or back to Maitai Bay or the west side of Cape Karikari (Te Ika) in an easterly swell. Mike
