tuffyluffy 76
I found this quote in the Digest amusing.... "TYLASKA provides the discriminating sailor with the ultimate in strength, performance and durability" Now thats niche marketing.
Guest
Nicely written Digest scribe. I completely disagree with the thought the costs of the new plan checking will be cheaper once an office is down here, that just makes no sense at all, but otherwise a very nicely written explanation of those goings on. Brett Bakewell-White 0
Say it takes 10 hours to review a plan and the engineer in Europe is being charged out at 150euro/hour and the engineer in Auckland is charging out at NZ$150/hour...........................gee I wonder which is cheapest?? I cant work it out either????
Guest
A fisherman in the Hauraki Gulf gets about $2-3.00 a kg for his fish, depending on many variables but either way it's bugger all. That fish is retailed at $40 odd (over $50 for snapper recently) due to the prices set overseas. Same applies to a massive assortment of products and services in NZ and worldwide. I'm sure my accountant would think I was silly to only charge NZ$150 when the next best you can get is NZ$300 (150 Euros), I think I'd agree with her. But hey, if someone wants to do it for that I'm all for it, who wouldn't be.
Guest
Just saw this, the RCD (EU compliance bullshit) for a 42 ft cat in print. I hope it is a joke but suspect it isn't. No I'm not worried.
