Also you can convert a popular "alternative" to this type of boat very cheaply and get a very close copy....

Dragon? K Class? Do tell! It's a Dragon. but hey grab a old etchells of trade me for 2-3 k (one on there at the moment @$2.2k) and wack on a cabin/cockpit and lay a teak deck over the top and its as good as done. (all the rest of the gear is with the boat) and do you like the spinnaker launcher in the bow! that is "art" on the water (aye smithy09! ) oh yeah. and cut a reverse sheer transom on for effect. And I'm allowed to say that cos my boat looks shite at the moment too! (Except of course the first metre on the port side)

Atom Ant 0
So what would you pay for a pimped Dragon like that? 50? It is gorgeous! I wouldn't want it simply because I'm far too lazy to spend the time keeping it looking beautiful and it would be a sin to let it go. How long is a Dragon anyway? Bout 25' OA? Bout 25' OA? that one sold for $120K (pounds) but hey you could convert a etchells to look very similar for about $15 / 20k all up (if you brought a fully rigged up old Etchells for say $5k) as for the maintenance just invest in a full cover.
