aucklanders don't know how lucky they are

Recommended Posts

It's the third incident involving a Manly ferry in just over three months

An Australian ferry has crashed into a private yacht in Sydney Harbour.

The collision happened about 2.40pm (local time) on Saturday near Fort Denison and involved the "Narrabeen" vessel.

Three passengers went overboard during the collision, a Port Authority of New South Wales spokeswoman said.

Happens here too. On Sundreamer’s sea trial last week we got hit by a fishing charter ferry 10 seconds after the new owner took the helm. Not much damage but we were lucky to retrieve a headsail that went over the side. The buyer proceeded. In hindsight I’d have done better if they had t-boned us :-)
