Island Time 1,235
Small main and bigger genoa was very common in masthead rigs of the time. The raven is a robust and capable little yacht. Ive never sailed on a cav 32 so can say much about that.
Island Time 1,235
I sailed mine around the North Island, and about 30 odd cook strait crossings. Tough and capable little boat...
chariot 243
Have owned both a Raven and a Cav 32. Would say the Raven is a bit better in the light airs. Both good boats but the Cav a lot better in the heavy, but then the Cav is better than most boats of that age in the heavy and probably a lot of newer boats.
