What design is this Cat?

Recommended Posts

Seen around the Gulf from time to time. Bit different from the usual seen around here.

Also, I seem to recall some one put up a link to a Facebook page showing the construction of a 31 foot Devilliers cat up in northland somewhere. Anyone have it?

The bridgedeck cat looks vaguely Eric lerouge-ish to me,

GaryB knows the owner and boat

french i think

would be sitting flat but the owner added the skegs as rubbing, rudder, prop. protection

I had a wander around it at low tide yesterday. Single chine v bottom hulls, small grounding keels, dagger boards, good bridgedeck clearance and bridgedeck well back, twin inboards with shafts and folding props. looks like a good cruising boat with decent sailing performance potential. Me like.
