Bad Kitty 256 Posted April 5, 2014 Share Posted April 5, 2014 Whitsundays in Oz are beautiful, or Vava'u in Tonga. Both have bare boat charters available. Coin toss as to which is nicer, probably lean to Tonga myself. Bit more of an international flavour with more cruisers from all over, rather than Aussies on holiday. But both very nice cruising. darkside 61 Posted April 5, 2014 Share Posted April 5, 2014 Vavau for me as well over the Whitsundays. Better on shore stuff at the Whitsundays and better diving as well if you get out to the reef. Vavau wins for me for the better cruiser vibe and the whales if you time it right. You should consider Raiatea as well. Plenty to do in that lagoon and you are only 20 odd miles to Bora Bora and Huahine. Link to post Share on other sites
