Panic Knot 6 Posted April 16, 2014 Share Posted April 16, 2014 Just been offered a Kestral 18 for next to nothing that's been languishing on someone's driveway. Trailer is in good nick and the boat and mast/rigging look generally sound with only some minor repairs. Still to suss out whether the centreboard still works but overall looks like a nice little winter project. However, it's missing sails. From the NZTYA website the original specs say that Hoods were the sole supplier. I'm having trouble finding out if they still exist or which current loft they've been swallowed up into. Where's the best place to start looking to see if anyone may still have the specs on file and hence be able to easily look at costing up a replacement set of sails?
