I have a Zeus 7 touch which has most of the same features, very impressed. The screen and switch layout on the new one looks nice.

Do you have a source for the Go-free wireless modules IT?

Yours touch screen Willow and if so how does it go with wet hands?

Wet hands are not a problem, you can navigate (via the buttons) just as well without using the touchscreen but wet fingers work ok anyway.

 

I have had an issue with where I originally had it located as water used to pour over it in rough sea and it was detected as finger touches which was not so convenient, would be nice if the touchscreen could be disabled sometimes. Was impressive how it still worked fine underwater though definitely waterproof.

 

I have since moved it to the steering binnacle where it is a lot more user friendly.

In there with you on the turn off the touch screen option, they can be a total pain in the arse sometimes.

To turn off touch screen swipe upper left to lower right then upper right to lower left, make the sign of the swastika then replicate the dance steps for a standard foxtrot. Then simply touch the appropriate icon and drag to the trash folder.
