wheels 543
It is hoped that production will start next year in these new Lights. They are using Graphen to produce the light and although detail is a little sketchy as you could imagine, I think the Graphen is somehow married with the LED. Anyway, whatever the construction, they are going to be 10% more efficient than an LED and fully dimmable. Shape and Size I have no idea of and who how and when they would be available in NZ, I have no clue either.
ScottiE 174
Funny - it was only just last night that I said to my wife that it was outrageous that the new LED stern light drew a whopping whole 1w!
Kevin McCready 83
Nice. What would be nicer is if the Government mandated some LED standards like other civilised countries. At the moment you never know what you're getting.
DrWatson 375
Alan, do you have a reference where I could read more? R
wheels 543
Someone was telling me about it, so I didn't have a link. So I just had a quick Google and it seems I am way behind on this news. it looks like it has already been made and ready for sale already.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-32100071
