MarkMT 68
and another seriously injured. http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/man-killed-another-injured-in-pittwater-yacht-crash-20160227-gn5cqr.html Very sad. A little hard to imagine how this might have happened - from the video it looks like a pretty light air day. BTW the music Ch 7 added to the video is just macabre. Addem 99
At our yacht club a few seasons ago we had one course sheet which had one division rounding a mark to starboard and the other division to port. It gets hairy enough when boats are all concentrating on rounding and clearing a mark without having boats unexpectedly coming at you. With 50 boats all doing it at the same time it could have been something similar.
AJ Oliver 154
Deepest regrets from the Sweetwater Seas. We lost a sailor at one of our regional races last year as well. Sail safe . . . but sail.
