darkside 61
A lot of AWB's as you would expect but I quite like the RM1270. Wood epoxy, lifting keel, quite open downstairs and looks like it would sail. Not badly priced either. Who would have thought that Bavaria would be involved in a pretty decent sailing cat the Nautitech Open 46? I wasn't aware you could get a steerable saildrive. Plus the usual bizarre sort of stuff. marinheiro 352
the steerable saildrive has been available for 4-5 yrs, but only on Beneteaus (and maybe some of their cousins) as part of the Dock & Go package. I guess Yanmar developed it for them and had to give them exclusivity for a period. Bit of a worry the engine in front of it - turbo charger/ECU/Common Rail -sign of things to come as emissions rules grow in influence.
Island Time 1,235
I like that RM1270! I have no issue with that modern diesel either. Modern diesels are very reliable, smooth, quiet and efficient.
