Clipper 343
Any brilliant ideas to remove sika without damaging paint underneath?
Guest 000
If it's not a big lot to remove... Presumably you have removed whatever was bogged down and cut away as much of the Sikaflex as you can with a Stanley knife, then if you have a gnarly old calloused thumb like mine you can pretty well remove the remaining residue by rubbing your thumb hard over the remaining sika. Anything left after that can be lifted by wiping with Grease and Wax remover. A Diggers product from Bunnings I think.

Clipper 343
Rub gently with a chainsaw Sounds like you come from the same place as my old mate in wellington who insists you can do ANYTHING with an angle grinder
mattm 98
It can be melted with MEK solvent, can't vouch for what might happen to the paint underneath though, maybe try on a small patch carefully before going alll out.....

Safety stubbies are optional
