wheels 543
I used to be arachnophobic. I now consider myself a recovering arachnophob. Over the years I have been able to desensatise myself to them and I can even now handle a few little ones, like those cute little jumping spiders. I see the beauty in many of them, apart from a couple I still can't go anywhere near.So I come home from the workshop and about to take a step onto the front porch and was greeted by this thing. My heart jumped into my mouth and instantly imitated the RPM of a rotary engine and I was breathing hard. I was horrified and all these thoughts rushing through my head, like where the heck did that come from, was it from my House, Blimey I have not long been under the house doing some plumbing. Maybe it fell out of the roof. Did a Bird find it in our back Bush area and drop it there. Would one of the Cats possibly drop it there. We have Spiders like this in NZ??? Dawn was inside and I figured she would freak if she saw it, so I went around to another door to get her. She came out of our office and instantly said, are you OK?? You look terrible. wheels 543
So I am standing there in front of Dawn and said, dear don't freak out, but you have to come see this thing on our back porch. It is really scary, so come out the other door with me and.......Her face changed and said, oh sorry, do you mean the Spider?Yes!!!! have you seen it????Yeah I put it there and I forgot I left it there, really really sorry.Seeing I was nearly in shock and I wondering what how why where and so on, she said, It's Plastic. What?? no it's not are you sure? it looks real to me.Yes it's plastic.OK then if you think you are so sure, where did you find it? .In the garden when I was digging it.How are you so sure it's plastic. It looks like a huge trapdoor spider to me.Because I picked it up, she said as lightly like it was no big deal. You picked it up not knowing what it was or if it was real? She shrugged, gave me a hug and apologised again.Oh I felt such a silly woose. So yes, it turns out it was indeed plastic and I managed to calm down after awhile. And then I felt a little silly.
