Priscilla II 398
Trying to get my head around the lack of detailed information that has been posted. No info on the status of the engine or mechanical systems. Overall at a knowlagble glance she appears tidy but the Seratone reflects her age. Reserve has been met at 65k which is enticing and a commitment to haul and allow for survey is a positive. I am not normally drawn to a boat of this size given the known annual costs of my 45 year old 10m woody. What does a boat of this size cost to own? Marina? Haul and service? General annual costs? Raw Cotton which may be larger but in immaculate condition failed to sell at just over 200k so what will this one sell for. I will say 150k max.
Priscilla II 398
Here is a Gladden 44. Admittedly old school compared to the Davidson. In my view nice older well built spacious cruiser with 90hp Ford placed where all engines should be. Where you can farkin get at them. 100k maybe a little more to open discussion. https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/boats-marine/yachts/keeler/auction-1330994086.htm
Priscilla II 398
Hah, another well constructed and sturdy girl. Similar layout to the Rhodes Cifero that is in Westhaven and still on the market I believe. https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/boats-marine/yachts/keeler/auction-1449942558.htm
Fish 0
The Cav is up to $173k now. Closes tomorrow, 8:45 pm. Needs to go up another $100k to achieve the current insurance valuation. Obviously auctions tend to do most of the price movement the 10 minutes before closing, so the day before has no indication of final price. Will be very interesting to see what it goes for. 5 people have looked over the boat apparently.
marinheiro 352
I see it went for $187k, assuming it did not need too much work someone got a good buy.
Fish 0
Bargain. https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/boats-marine/yachts/keeler/auction-1469006817.htm Bet everyone else selling similar age, quality and condition boats are doing a big face palm this morning. There is a Cav 45 listed in the back of Boating NZ for $290k something... only about 33% out on price based on this auction.
JK 28
Credit to the vendor though! He'd bought another yacht & this one was only going to cost in time, marina fees, insurance, & upkeep until it eventially sold and not being used is not the best for keeping a boat in tip top condition. It took some guts to list at $1 reserve, although I guess he could always have someone bid for him if it didn't reach an acceptable price. Assuming he was happy with the price it reached & he can get on with enjoying his new yacht without the worry of dealing with the old one.
