wheels 544
I would like to know more about the Resin from Linseed. That sounds most interesting. We sure need an alternative to Epoxy. That stuff has become so stupid expensive.
Beccara 25
Here you go wheels, should help put anyone to sleep https://hal.archives-ouvertes.fr/hal-00587993/document I think the linseed based stuff has been around a while now, heres a commerical product for use in PVC: https://www.arkema.com/en/products/product-finder/product-viewer/Vikoflex-7190-Epoxidized-Linseed-Oil/
wheels 544
Thank-you. I will be sure to get into that next time I struggle to sleep.Interesting stuff though. Sad it is not marketed better. I wonder what the cost would be. I suspect it may not be cheap, as Mineral Oil is still a cheap and easily obtained product compared to most other forms of Bio Oils. I see they also have a Soy based product also.

Myjane 40
The honeycomb systerm s been around for a while the problem there is water ingress , but I love the spring boom vang I will look into that
wheels 544
The Boom vang of that kind has been around for many years. They are basically a heavy Sail batten. When put under enough load, they "kick" out into a Bend and act as a spring.
