Yanmar Impellers

This is probably grasping at straws given its Yanmar, but does anyone know of an impeller equivalent for a Yanmar 3GM 30?

I have been giving my engine a birthday - filters etc, and find that a new Yanmar impeller is $160, which seems a bit steep to me.

BUT there are two pump sizes listed in the parts manual, its a bit confusing.

They are usually on the shelf at Burnsco or most marine stores so you should be able to check your old one there if there is any doubt.

Yes the genuine one is a Johnson but they are different for raw water and heat exchanged models -most common 09-810B

Thanks for the info. I have a spare old one, so once lockdown is over [ ?? maybe??] I'll whip it into Burnsco and try to match it

Try just taking it to the store now - then sanitise it in front of them and lay it on the table - then step back and ask them if they can give you similar on the spot. I did this - Paywaved - worked fine.
