DrWatson 380
Saturday was awesome weather: A few last minute driveway rigging checks, then off down the street to get her bum wet. She Floats!!! but she is insanely unstable with no one on board. This photo was taken from about 800m using my 400mm lens. Had 3-4knts of breeze. almost nothing, but she still went along nicely, and it was good to have so little as I'll admit to my lack of dinghy experience with large sails and minimal displacement. total weight about 75kg I think. DrWatson 380
thats bloody awesome! whens she acquiring a prod and genny? Thanks, Well, we have the prod made, and will install it soon. But given that the small jib you see here cost more than you're wanting for your Javelin, we're not in a massive hurry to fork out anymore this summer. Total cost so far = just over 11,000 swiss francs... = 17,000 NZD
