Maritime Operations Centre – Trainee Radio Operator

 

Salary range: $35 - $40K

The Maritime Operations Centre team requires a new team member. MOC is responsible for maintaining a “Safety Of Life At Sea” communications watch for an area stretching from the equator to the South Pole and from Mid Tasman to more than halfway to Chile.

 

This position would suit an individual who has the ability to contribute to the success of the team, possesses the behaviours required to work in a 24x7 operation, and the maturity to interact with distressed people whilst remaining calm.
