DrWatson 380
OK so while the exchange rate (for me) is still good I'm gonna fork out for the asymmetric for my wee skiff. options for cloth are: Airx 600 or Dynakote 75 price is almost the same - there's 20 bucks diff. Anyone know which of these might be better? Specifically wrt to sliding past the jib while gybing.
Scotty3934 5
Personal opinion but would always go Airx over Dynakote. If you have silicon coated Airx 620NS available to you you cant go past it. It is the same weight and spec as 600 but with the slippery silicon coating). 37 gsm and .86 smoz. I believe it is still available after a quick check of the manufactures web site but it may depend on your local sail maker / supplier.
Guest
Contact Fyfe sails (ad to left) and see how their prices compare with Europe after delivery, I'd be interested to know the result.
