Fogg 427 Posted November 5, 2011 Share Posted November 5, 2011 Most cruisers I know who set out on a 'round the world' trip start in Europe/US, make it into the S Pacific, get as far west as the Solomons or PNG and then realise they have pretty much "done the best bit". At which point they return to the S Pacific for a while before putting their boat on the market in either Aus or NZ. And then returning home or settling in one of the places they visited en route.
