They'd discovered an upturned tinny about a mile north of Tiri and were running a search patterm , asking guys like us ( anchored at Tiri watching the Orca) if we'd seen any debris/ jetsam etc. I don't know what they discovered ,if it was an accident or just a high tide floater. Yeah I was curious about that too. We were sailing out of the Tiri Chl towards Barrier at that time and I actually plotted to location of the dinghy to avoid hitting it! Eagle were flying a grid pattern presumably looking for any people or debris but I never heard anything more after Deodar towed it ashore. Link to post Share on other sites
