Heading to Rakino or Waikalabubu on Saturday for an overnight. Nothing too strenuous now the wife is 26 weeks and I've had no single handed practice :?

PredictWind has gone E from S for Saturday and Sunday since I last checked, so maybe Kawau after all.

Yup, AC will be out, probably solo-skipper this trip but that won't stop copious amounts of grog to be consumed or loud music played. :D

Yeah, a bit chilly. Still at Woody Bay after a grand tour of Rakino and an hour long dive to scrub the bottom of the Marshall. Just about got a feed of Pipis off the keel...

Has the keel been in the sand recently - that is where pipis normally live.....

Other black shelly things then...

So got the official go ahead for Kawau tomorrow, will be our first time there. Recommendations for where to overnight with the predicted easterly?

Easiest decision in the world - Bon Accord harbour, far E end. Will be flat as a millpond.

Yeah, does that mean everyone else will be jammed in there as well. How would South Cove or Bostaquet be?

Bostaquet likely to have smsll roll from the SE this week.

Not sure about S Cove but Bon Accord is big enough to have space for everyone - it's not a busy holiday weekend after all.
