They have a spring with cups that the spring fits into at each end. The cups run on the rachet system "top and bottom" of the winch. Springs force the cups onto this rachet system. Seems the springs are made of bronze and have lost their spring. Link to post Share on other sites

Guest Posted April 30, 2012 Share Posted April 30, 2012 No Otto, don't think so unless its an old version. I tried sending a photo to Fosters Chandlery and they didn't know what it is. If it was a Murray they would have recognised it. It does not have pawls like the Murray winches. Link to post Share on other sites
