Fogg 427
Wonder how that would go against an Electron?
rbob 0
Electron should be quicker I would think. The Electron hull shape is quite different and doesn't have a skeg so should turn faster. The T32 model also has an overlapping headsail which makes it a bit harder to sail but may give it better upwind speed.
Guest
That T32 is very cool can you get a kit for that or did you just build it from scratch? I,m refitting an Old Marblehead now and are wondering what sort of winch I need to pull in the quite large sail area the mast is two metres tall I bought all the rig off Isobar yachts. I,ve heard you can convert some of the cordless Screwdrivers to do the job on the winch anyone know anything about RC winches?
SloopJohnB 324
Normally use these winches in IOM and Mableheads. www.rmgsailwinch.com.au (39 to go to thye big one )

Based on the Twilight plans and some measurements off my boat (Takahoa) He is building a 2nd one for me so we can have a bit of friendly sibling match racing.
