banaari 27
For future reference, any good ideas on how to get those miniatures tyres on and off the sort of evil 4-inch rims used for dinghy beach trolleys, etc? Have almost lost sensation in hands due to long and hard-fought battle last night.
JK 28
I had the same problem after purchasing some new tubes. Ended up taking them back to the place I bought the tubes from & they put the tyres back on the rims in a couple of minutes at no charge.
Guest
Tyre levers. Any cycle shop should sell them.
wheels 543
Deflate the tyre first Once deflated, squeeze the beads of the tyre together so that both beads sit in the centre of the rim. Their is a indent in the rim. That will then allow you to pull the tyre off centre to the rim and you can then pull one bead over the rim edge with a lever or spoon handle or... You will need two levers, one to lock the bead and the other to pry it over. A little detergent and water will help the lever slide against the rubber.
