There is a large cruising cat on the rocks just North of Bayswater marina - think it is normally out on the Northcote moorings. Can't quite pick which one it is through the Bino's. High tide is about 10.30 so be good to see it off before then. Heading toward neaps so wont be much fun getting her off in a day or two. Can't see if she has stub keels or sitting on the hulls. Bad enough seeing an older shite boat on the rocks, but a nice one makes me feel ill. Wont help trying to get multi insurance on a swing mooring! Link to post Share on other sites

My wee 18 foot cat went for a skate on the hard, and I heard of two other boats that come off thier moorings around Orakei. I was just trying to find out about Sonic - took a few moonlit photos of her as she was coming home from the light-air rum racin on Friday. It was great to see a cruising cat out there - I hope those rocks are kind. Its a crappy quick unedited collage, but this was Sonic at the end of the rum race Friday.
