Hi David,

I am getting some work done in the Sounds, and wondered if the crew.org.nz team know if Macmanaways are good ?. I have heard good things about them from boat shops, so think they are ok, but wouldn't want to have any problems as it can get expensive quickly if things aren't done right and to quote !.

 

If you could ask the team a question about how others have found them, I would appreciate it.

I have never heard anything negative about McManaways. They have been in Picton since year dot and a well known name. They have also built some nice work boats over the years. If it is wooden boat work, I can however, highly recommend one other boat builder by the name of Richard Clausen. He lives in Waikawa and has a workshop and yard there, but will travel to your boat as well. So that gives you two choices.
