floating dutchman 0
Moterboat, what are you using for power supply. Looking at the photo it doesn't look like you have an inboard and outboards don't give a lot of power, and how many days usually? I've got one of those cheep warehouse electric chilly bins, I chopped of the lid and fitted on the cool box of the boat (well insulated) as an experiment. Beer was cooled slightly and battery got flat. Fail. I have improved the battery situation a bit and am tempted to try it again.
wheels 543
So where did you put this one's condenser ( how is condenser being kept cool ) & what inside cooling temperature are you obtaining now? The compressor unit sits on a "shelf" in the bilge directly below. It's a big space below and plenty of air to keep cool.
MOTORBOAT 0
Our outboard charges at 6A when running so you can;t really rely on it for power, we have a 120W solar panel with MPPT controller which is awesome. Last year we were away for 12 days and had no problem with battery power, the solar panel is the key.
