We need a camera boat for the Waikato seagull race over easter. Would need to be able to take a 15hp motor. Anything considered as long as it doesn't leak too much! Link to post Share on other sites

I’m not sure what it is about her, but when it’s windy, she tacks on the mooring. The tacks become longer and more aggressive till there’s enough momentum there to dislodge the anchor. Then she’s off! It may be a case of setting the rudder at a different angle or something simple like that. Thing is I’m put off cruising by this shocking characteristic so don’t have much chance to play around and fix it. It’s pretty crazy, my fathers 40ft power boat doesn’t drag on WT’s anchor, but WT does! Seems like those Manson Supreme’s are pretty good. Any opinion on those? Adrian.
