Custom boat hatches

Thinking about replacing the standard fibeglass hatch on the marauder. It's an odd shape so I think I need to get one made. I have seen a few on other marauders.

 

Any one know the best place to get one made? Or what it might cost?

Or you can change the hole in your deck to suit a standard hatch?

This is that "unique" semi-see through kind of forward hatch that some of the Marauders have?

 

Clive at Cule Hatches in Henderson might be able to help you out. In general they seem to be able to do custom hatches at a price that stacks up very well given the quality. Secondly he is often one step ahead and already has replacements for most of the long-forgotten brands that went into NZ class boats over the years.

Yes that's the badger. Solid unpainted fiberglass that gives a romantic yellow glow inside (not quite see through)

can recommend Cule hatches, had one done for our Lotus last year, made to order, nice adjustment, works well. Same price as standard sizes.
