Guest
How much weight am I going to have to lose to be ideal weight for this class. I am not really into Dinghies but this class looks a good size for a good size sailor, as well as a bit of fun, It would also appear that the class is in reasonable shape
Guest
Depends how much you weigh now. Weights ae pretty varied. The top 10 at the nationals were between 80 and about 120. Never believe the weight they tell you either .

Never believe the weight they tell you either . Around 100kg looking at the pie I am about to scoff, I dont think I am going to get smaller either. I guess it is a matter of getting in one and going for a boost
Guest
The sailors I saw in Port Nic on Friday all looked pretty solid (18 years olds excepted). I don't think you need to hang back at the buffet to do OK.

Guest
Hi David, Just back from not so windy Wellington after shooting the OK Worlds. Some interesting racing and a good group of guys and 2 girls. Karl Purdie took the title on the last day but he was pushed all the way by Michael Stevens AUS and Matt Williams the young sailor from Wellington. Although the venue didnt live up to the Windy tag it was still good to watch such a diverse bunch of sailors from 18yrs to 70yrs all competing with often little between them. A few images attached. Cheers Will

Guest
Will I think the 2nd and 3rd place getters were Micheal Williams and Matt Steven. Nice shots. I'd be interested in one of NZL 469 leading the fleet in the race that got abandoned.
