I know it doesn't matter yet. I know we won't know how ETNZ stand for real until/if they line up against Oracle in the Cup Match.

 

But it is interesting to note that the Dalton bay-sayers, who became quite vociferous in the lead up to the start of the LV Cup, have been remarkably silent since the 'racing' began. Noting that it is not over yet, I have to say it looks, at this stage, like ETNZ have done a superb job up to this point. I don't mind saying I am impressed.

 

And I hope that ( a ) they continue on successdfully, and ( b ) they have not revealed all of their tricks and/or played all of their cards yet (which I am sure they haven't).

The naysayers seem to forget that ETNZ are up against a very well-funded team who have no qualms in trying every trick in the book- morally defensible or otherwise - to win.

 

They're also the team that chose the design and the location, so beating them at their own game in their own backyard with their rules is always going to be a monumental ask. Are ETNZ up to it? So far, it sure looks like they're taking it to them, and I dare say there is not anyone who graces these forums who could have done better.
