Greghume 0
I would like advice. I'm looking at buying a yacht around 36ft. Initially for coastal cruising with long term plan offshore cruising. I've been a commercial fisherman but have little yachting experience but I'm learning. I'm on a limited budget and do like older classics. What design and hull material should I be looking for. My trawlers have been heavy kauri built I have never had steel. Any advice greatly appreciated. Greg.

Guest
I wouldn't go beyond this. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/boats-marine/yachts/keeler/auction-638278933.htm Ed. Sorry - misread the original - 36 feet - but wasn't permitted to cancel the post. I rest my case.
